Amy Gunsallus brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as a Pre-K teacher at Holy Family Catholic School. With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood Education from Louisiana Tech University, Amy's journey in education spans several roles across different states, including teaching positions in Louisiana and substitute teaching in Pennsylvania.
At HFCS, Amy finds profound fulfillment in nurturing relationships with her students and instilling in them the knowledge of God's love and their unique significance. She considers it both an honor and a privilege to share with her young learners the depth of our Heavenly Father's affection for them.
Outside the classroom, Amy's life is marked by a love for nature and family. Having lived in Ohio, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania, she cherishes the diversity of experiencing all four seasons, with spring being her favorite for its vibrant renewal of life. Amy's passion for gardening is evident, as she enjoys cultivating flowers and herbs, finding solace and joy in digging in the dirt. During the summer months, she indulges in outdoor activities like bike riding, park walks, and leisurely coffee moments on her porch. Above all, Amy treasures her role as a grandmother, fondly known as "NeNe," to her two-year-old granddaughter, who brings immense joy to her heart.
