Sarah Weifenbaugh brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to her dual role as a math and English teacher for grades 6-8 at Holy Family Catholic School. With a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Math from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Educational Technology from ACE (American College of Education), Sarah is committed to fostering academic excellence through innovative teaching methods.
Since joining Holy Family in January 2023, Sarah has made a significant impact on her students' educational journey. Prior to her tenure at HFCS, she spent four years teaching 7th-grade math in Virginia before serving as a long-term substitute in various districts across the Pittsburgh area, teaching both 7th and 8th-grade math.
Sarah's dedication to her students extends beyond academics. She finds joy in witnessing their growth from 6th to 8th grade and cherishes the opportunity to celebrate Mass with them every Wednesday, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
Outside of the classroom, Sarah's life is enriched by her family and outdoor adventures. She resides with her husband, Mark, and their son, Nathan. Together, they enjoy exploring nature through hiking expeditions with their dog and embarking on culinary adventures, discovering new eateries on the weekends.
